Last minute panic for 2016

Having a 4 piece change of plans for the 2016 challenge, talk about leaving things til the last minute. Me & the BF have decided that Im not going to stitch anything for him next year as, he already has at least 12 pieces in a pile upstairs & no where to hang them til his man cave is sorted. I always do him one each for birthday, valentines, anniversary & christmas so, thats 4 pieces that need replacing with something for me :0)
Ive decided to add these 4 instead as theres room in my Alice in Wonderland bedroom to hang them.

Too much snow!!

Well, I think its official, Im not going to manage to finish the challenge this year. Ive added a lot of snow but, theres far too much more to go & no spare time to complete it. Ive managed 14 & a half pieces this year though so, not too upset.

Finished official number 14, Im so nearly there. Just now need to complete the Victorian Christmas page & I will have completed this years challenge......21 days to go, do you think I will make it???

Well, this was meant to be finished by the end of November, obviously didnt happen!!!

Lady in blue

Have just finished adding the lady in blue to Victorian Christmas. Am now putting this piece away til December & am going to try & get 'I stitch to keep the voices quiet' finished by the end of the month......Wish me luck :0)

Long overdue update

Sorry about the delay, havent done much stitching in the last few weeks due to arm/elbow/hand pain post Augusts dog bite injury :0(  Getting a bit better now, hoping there is no nerve damage. Have been picking up Victorian Xmas on & off so, here is a bit of progress. Top row of shops done & the first figure.

Craftykitten???

Have just ordered my first piece of fabby from the Craftykitten. I should have been more sensible & checked with my stitchy friends if they have used this site before but, got so excited by the amazing colours I just hit BUY. Really hope I havent made a mistake??

Hope this turns out well, there are sooo many more Id like to buy from them, fingers crossed :0)

Found this little pretty in the local charity shop today for £1.50. Going to have a go on some aida with it & see what I can come up with :)

Finally finished, after much frogging!!! Have added mine & the BFs initails in Gallifreyan in the corners & we love it. Im now feeling hopeful that I will manage to complete this years 15 crazy challenge. I should be able to get 'Jon Snow want to fight' & 'I stitch to keep the voices quiet' by the end of November at the latest then, I just have to work like crazy on the 3rd page of 'Victorian Christmas' which Ive hardly started in December.

Finished frogging & 4 corners!!

I think Ive frogged out all the right hand side that was in the wrong place (I hope, I really really hope) & have got all 4 corner pieces in the correct place now!

Doctor disaster!!!

Not happy. Have added the 2 corners on the left with no problems but, when I went to do the right hand side, have realised that everything is out by 2 stitches horizontally & vertically & they dont fit. Time to start frogging :0(

Have reached the edges

Have been going through many, many WIPs & UFOs tonight & have sort of made a decision on next years pieces now. Unless I change my mind again, Im adding these 5 UFOs to next years challenge

Secret weekend stitching

Very pleased this weekend, got a lot of secret stitching done on the BFs xmas pressie. All the red & black is now complete, just need to add the white but, think I may change this to cream as the aida is pure white & would like it to show up a bit!!
