Blimey, long time no post!!!

Hi all, have just realised that I havent posted on here for a month. A lot to do with the xmas run up but, also because the little stitching I have done was for the 2017 challenge, not this years.....couldnt resist, had to start the Epic 1st Gen Pokemon piece, my bad but, am loving it :)

Well this one wasnt officially cross stitch but, if I hadnt added it to the challenge it would have never got completed!! Big mohair throw I won from Sirdar last year & yes, I maybe hiding behind it :0)

Loving Mr Postman this morning. 80 Skeins arrived & I think thats everything floss wise sorted for the 2017 CSCC.

Well this was coming along nicely but have ran out of floss........picked up some knitting instead now!

Had enough of confetti so have decided to finish off ' I sublimate my rage through needlework'. Oddly, Im not finding the black aida a problem at the moment which is very unusual for me, I normally curse it!!

Oh Yeah, I done it, having a celebration dance.....the green man is complete which makes this official finish 10 for CSCC 2016. Still have half a page & all the backstitch to go but, thats for the 2017 challenge.

I really didnt fancy stitching the green man so, I finished off all the snow instead. Now I have no choice, onto the man.

Victorian Christmas

Heres my starting point for Victorian Christmas. Have a lot to do to catch up with this one but, as Im running ahead of my planned stitching schedule, thought Id give it a try. Hoping to finish the page & a bit by the end of October

Oh dear, discovered Nora Corbett last night. Was feeling a bit low so, did a bit of tipsy shopping......credit cards should be banned with alcohol!!
Anyway, got these 4 for the 2018 CSCC now :)

And also had this one on my Wish List for so long I just had to get it too

Now to work out how to pay the credit card bill next month!!!

Winter is Coming!!

This really isnt fair. I promise I have not been looking for any new stash, I have enough to last 100 years but......this just appeared on my FB wall, would go so well with the rest of the GOT stuff Ive already stitched......Guess I'll just have to give in & buy it!!

ouch, Ouch, OUCH!!!

Something is telling me I just shouldnt be stitching today!!
Firstly, whilst working, impaled my thumb on an ultra sharp kitchen knife!!
Then, hours later, at home, after the bleeding had stopped, managed to set fire to the plasters on my thumb!!!
Thats got to be original....Not a happy bunny tonight :0(

have accidentally found 2 new pieces that Im going to have to add to my 'Wish List'

I love the name of this sampler.....Its called 'Death By Cross Stitch......It is rather an epic piece!!

Very overdue update!!

Ooops sorry folks, kinda forgot to update this......Here is how Rincewind was looking on July 12th.....Must confess, havent done much stitching at all since, just been to damn hot, Ive lost my stitchy bug :0(

Also, not too happy how the shade under his hat has come out compared to the magazine piccie, think this has put me off stitching it a bit too!!

YEYYYY its officially 2017!!

Oh ok,not really but, the official CSCC 2017 page is up so, I can start planning what Im not going to be able to finish next year after I fail to finish what I planned to finish this year!!!

Have been stitching on Rincewind like a mad person since my last post. Didnt think I was really getting anywhere fast but, now I can compare this piccie to the last one, Im feeling happier about the progress :0)

Started back again on Terry Pratchetts 'Rincewind The Wizard'. Have been stitching so long with just black floss, Id forgotten how much extra time all these colour changes take!!

Hello Mr Caterpillar

A bit more done this weekend, we have Mr Caterpillar on his mushroom.
Had a bit of a giggle while I was stitching this. Was watching an episode of 'Once Upon A Time' & they were feeding a giant pieces of Alices mushroom to change his size, very fitting :0)
