A very, very, very overdue update!!

Cant believe its been over a month since I last posted. Have had lots of hassle on the home front & have hardly stitched this last month but, have at last finished page 3 of the Mad Hatters Tea Party & things are getting back to normal again so will hopefully finish this one soon :0)

Late weekend update!

Better late than never, heres what Ive been up to last weekend. Finished page 2 of Mad Hatter. I should have managed a lot more than that but Mum, bless her, requested a bit of stitching from me.
First she gave me a cake band & asked me if I could stitch it for the christmas cake, Yeah, not too much extra stitching time involved there.
Then! she produced a mobile & asked if I could stitch 10 pieces for that as well......She really wanted 20 (1 each side of all 10 hangers) but, told her there was no chance of all that happening!! Got a couple done on Sunday for her, now searching for other small suitable charts.

Have finished the 1st page of Mad Hatter, so want to get this finished now I know where Im hanging it :0)

A couple more pokemon

Not had much stitching time recently but managed 2 more pokemon of the Bulbasaur variety!!  Have changed back to Alices Mad Hatters tea party now as Ive realised where I can hang all my Alice pieces together so must get that done now....Im a stitcher on a mission :0)

Long weekend stitching plan

As much as Im loving stitching the epic pokemon chart, I feel like Im neglecting my other projects so, as I have a long weekend, Im planning to stitch this little cutie 'Duncan Dog' on the Brookes Books Advent Animals piece.....Wish me luck, I want a finish by Sunday night

Fabric sample arrived, 2018 CSCC list has been started!!!

I ordered a sample piece of the fabric that Id like to do the Epic Mario chart on. Ive had some bad experiences in the past with dyed evenweave so wanted to make sure I really liked it before forking out £32 for the full size piece!! Anyway, its arrived, I love it so have ordered the big piece & its now on the 2018 CSCC list. The whites & blues are more defined than this piccie shows.....Looks like the clouds behind the Mario game but not quite as cartoony (dont think thats a real word!) :0)

Not much stitching time this week but at least I have now found the edge of the left hand side.....The only way is up, now :0)

Weekend Pokemon update

Weekend progress on Epic Pokemon piece. We have most of a Raticate & the start of a bundle of blue pokemon above. Think they are Nidoran/Nidorano & the start of the bats but not entirely sure at the moment!!

Squirtle family update!

Have been working hard on Squirtle & his evolutions now the floss is sorted. Have got lots more of the detail done on the 3 of them now & starting Raticate over the weekend (who is behind them on the chart) so hopefully, all the missing stitches will then be completed

Been bobbinating!!

Have finally sorted out all the floss for the Epic Pokemon piece. So much easier & quicker to stitch now I dont have to keep searching through a bag to find the right colour!!

Do I blow the budget???

Aghh, do I or dont I?? Have been watching jewellery armoires since I saw somebody online change one into an epic floss storage system. Ive always loved chinese black lacquer & found this one about a month ago. It is big, about a metre high. Originally £360, then reduced to £265 & now has just been reduced again to £185!! If I buy it, thats my budget blown for the entire year (or 2) Really cant decide, help !!!!!

A productive evening

No stitching for me tonite but have had a very productive evening finally sorting out all my stash/kits/finished charts/new charts/WIPs/stuff to frame/current pieces & everything else that Ive just been chucking into storage & not organising.....Ive had a jolly good time too, ho ho ho (Yep, Ive just found xmas too) :) x

The confession is Im running so late this year because I forgot to order the fabric for this piece & also for days 12, 13, 14 & 15 new starts (also 1 piece of fabric). All arrived now so, hoping to catch up quickly :)

Happy New Year everyone, hope you have all had a wonderful xmas & looking forward to a happy 2017.
Only managed to finish 12 pieces in the 2016 challenge but, quite happy with that (piccies are in the 2016 page link).
Today is a new year with 15 new pieces to try & finish in a year. This is the 1st, which I do not expect to finish this year.
Its the Epic Pokemon piece which Im totally addicted to at the moment so it seemed fitting for it to be the 1st piece of the year :0)
